I have a 1989 Chevrolet Suburban and I would like to put a tachometer in it but its not like the old distributors in which it doesnt have the coil pack on top and that is usually where the tach lead plugs into. I have looked all around the distributor and cannot find a point to plug the lead into. Where is this point at?any help would be appreciated.thx

On the coil, there is a black connector and a grey connector, the tach signal is one of the wires coming off the grey connector and is probably taped up and will have a connector on the other end (which you will be able to see).
