Now that is some high dollar whores. What an idiot and hypocrite!

NEW YORK -- Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who built a national reputation as an aggressive, uncompromising prosecutor, apologized to the public Monday after a federal wiretap caught him allegedly arranging to meet a high-priced prostitute in a Washington hotel.

The recording captured a man identified as "Client 9" -- a regular customer of an elite international call-girl ring -- setting up a date with a petite brunet who used the name "Kristen." A source familiar with the case identified the Democratic governor as Client 9.

As the public -- and his fellow politicians -- reacted with shock and outrage, Spitzer strode to a lectern in Manhattan, his arm around his wife, Silda. Both looked deeply shaken, but Spitzer delivered his brief remarks in a crisp, steady tone as Silda stood, stone-faced, at his side.

"I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family, that violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong," he said.

Spitzer, who has three teenage daughters, has not been charged. He spoke for one minute and did not elaborate on his actions.

That was a shock. I had high hopes for him to continue to turn this state around with his ideas. He did a great job as AG and won the election to governor by a record landslide back in Nov. 2006. Many people had pinned their hopes on making this state better by lowering our tax burden and making the state inviting again to business and new residents.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. It reminds me of the Senator Larry Craig sex incident in the bathroom last year. Everybody called for him to resign yet he's still in office.

Sounds likes he's been "turning it around" for sometime now...... and bending it over.

I guess since he admitted his guilt that makes it ok.
Sen. Craig is just in denial and the stall closet. :grinyes:

Man, I still can't believe these whores were going for up to $5500 an hour.

I don't care how good or classy they are. :grinno:

Not that I'm saying what he did was excusable or anything, but why havn't we legalized prostitution? I mean if we were to regulate it like it is done in some parts of Nevada I think it would be a good thing.

But since hes in the limelight and supposed to be a model citizen, I guess its gonna come down hard on him.

for $5500 they'd better stick around and do some dishes or windows or some thing.

Damn, couldnt he get that shit free being a "higher power". :screwy: He is a looser

I almost busted a nut watching Jay Leno last night. He made a joke about Democrats being the poor party spending big bucks to get sex and the so called richer Republicans are looking for it in public bathrooms for free.

I wouldn't call him a loser, maybe just stupid. He's a lawyer and he should've known how to go about doing what he did, (Not saying what he did was right,)without leaving a paper trail or other evidence. He killed his career chances and made a lot of people I know upset that he did this , because we all had high hopes that we finally got someone in the Governor's seat that could do some good for the people of New York for a change.

Well Tom the problem is everyone has a dark side. Just because he is a lawyer really doesn't mean much since I know a bunch of them that are vulnerable like anyone else and have been criminally prosecuted for a crime of moral turpitude. Of course, he should have known better or at least covered his rear end. Maybe he felt like he was above the law? :dunno:

Here is a good analogy: "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

But the point I was trying to get across was that being a lawyer and a very smart one at that, he should've known ways to cover up or get around what he was doing. His career was built upon prosecuting those who had broken the law and were caught. He "should have learned from their mistakes when he planned on breaking the law himself". I know that sounds weird and again I;m not saying what he did was right, I'm just saying he should have realized what he was doing could end up coming back and biting him in the ass. Shortly after I posted the post before this one, I saw a news segment about Spitzer's resignation , and the anchor person who was talking to a political analyst, echoed the same exact thing I had said. That he was a smart lawyer and should've known how to cover his tracks and not leave a paper trail.

I would call him a looser.
Just because he was paying for something he could have got free.
Should've went to Nevada! lol

I sure hope they make him pay back the $80,000 he spent.
I also heard on CNN he was turning in his resignation, but his wife told him not too. :shakehead

Politicians, gotta love'em!

According to the AP he is supposed to resign Monday. It really doesn't matter what the rest of the country says about it. In the end it is up to the New Yorkers. 70% want him to resign and 66% want him impeached and removed from office if he does not resign. Talk about being stuck between a rock and hard place. :uhoh:

Even if Spitzer resigns, 49 percent of New Yorkers said he should face criminal charges.

I'll let you guys be the judge on whether she (Kristen) a.k.a. Ashley Alexandra Dupre was worth it. Hot off the press. Here are her pics. About 10 total. Not bad....however. See link below.

No too shabby... kinda cute, though I still don't see paying that kind of price for her, or any other. I've had better looking for free!

I searched for her on myspace on my lunch break today, ..... thier must have been 300-400 new users with her name , making fun or defending her.

Here's the hooker's profile. What's funny is she got all these adds of people going on and supporting her. So what? She's a rich whore. She doesn't need support or help.

Anyway, she's ok but not worth the price. I might pay $20 to shoot her in the face.

What's funny though is he was all bitching and moaning about Grand Theft Auto games saying, "Media content has gotten more graphic, more violent and more sex-based ... Children can even simulate having sex with a prostitute." Children may simulate it but Spitzer actually did it!

Oh, I'm sure of it. That's one of the first things that crossed my mind when this whole situation started to unfold. You have a person who was held in very high esteem, done a lot of good for the constituents, won a gubernatorial race with 70% of the vote,( never happened before in NY,)there was even talk of a Presidency sometime in the future, to fall from grace so quick and so hard. I wouldn't be surprised if we see such a movie in the coming year.

Yet, another reason why i hate living in NY. That hypocrite made one of my friends loose his job with wine merchants ltd due to fining them for some bullshit clause.

I'm just glad he's gone Monday, now we got ourselves a blind African American governer. This should be interesting.

I'm giving this new guy a chance and the benefit of the doubt. His speech really energized the crowds yesterday at his inauguration.A funny thing was noted in our local morning paper. During his speech yesterday shortly after being sworn in he went to pound his gavel and nearly hit his glass of water. The quick thinking (and reflexes) of the speaker of the house quickly grabbed the glass out of the way. He then told Governor Paterson to not turn his speech into a Jewish wedding
He's already come out and said that both he and his wife were unfaithful to each other during a low spot in their marriage about 10 years ago. They have since worked it out. At least he's forthcoming and said he wanted to get it out in the open so he wouldn't be blackmailed in the future.

Which reminds me of a joke I heard many years ago, and recently came to mind during this fiasco with the old governor and the new one who is blind. It goes like this: "What are the bumps on a woman's areola around her nipples?

Braille for "Suck here".
