F.Y.I. Spark plugs

Just some info for anyone who is having trouble with losing a cylinder. All of the sudden my 99 burb developed a miss, then the service engine soon light comes on, then the trans starts chugging. Plugged in to find code and found # 3 cylinder was misfiring. I replaced the sparks plugs and presto it's fixed. I would have never believed that plugs would have caused these problems. Guess I'm not as mech. inclinded as I thought.

did you measure resistance of plug wire? how old are the plugs? manufactured by? did the platium chip fall off? this is how i would look at this plug issue........
