misfire Cly. #7

well i have a 1999 k1500 5.7 vortec burb. i just got the new/rebuilt engine and have a consistent cylinder 7 misfire. (P0307)
i have replaced the Plugs with AC delco OEM plugs, and new wires, cap and rotor.
i was wondering if maybe the valves for that cylinder could be out of adjustment? im not a GM expert or anything not even sure if they are adjustable.
any ideas? maybe dirty injector or something?
please let me know ASAP so i can start towing my car around again.

Since you have replaced the plugs, etc a compression test on all 8 should be done. If #7 is low compared to the rest it could be valves and/or rings. If #7 compression is good then a fuel injection balance test is indicated.

And yes the valves are adjustable. Good luck.

Try this one. This method is about the best there is although there are others that will get you close. When you do this make sure all the plugs are out to make it easier to turn the motor over.
