IMO, the only excuse for that is being in jail or the morgue.

Had it happened. Never talked to the guy again. But made a new friend in the process and the concert was so0o much better.

Sounds almost gay, but it was because he knew girls. ;)

Aniwho, cold shoulder unless they come up with a highly valid excuse.

Are these supposed to be your closest friends? They don't sound like it imo.

yeah i've known one since the 2nd grade and the other for about 6ish yrs.. still haven't heard anything from them. I'm usually the type that doesn't let stuff like this bother me, but for some reason this time i'm pissed about it

I would be very upset if that happend. If you tell someone you are going to do so, and then decide not to do it, the LEAST you can do is let them know about it....especially on your birthday.

I don't blame you, that shit's fucked.

That happened to me on my 18th, the night was all planned and they all went to someone elses house, had pizza, beer and watched movies and didn't invite me, and fully dogged me and fucked me over. I rang them and they told me, and after an awkward silence they said "...um, you can come over if you want".

Yeah I still talk to them but I haven't turned up to one of their organised partys yet, they had the nerve to 'confront' me about it last October.

Sometimes you need to make new friends eh.

Your friends suck man. Good friends NEVER do that shit. There's lots of people out there, just hang with new people.

just a little update, i talked with one on aim for about a minute, according to him they forgot to come get me friday because he was on his phone arguing w/his gf and didn't realize they had forgotten me till they were halfway there and he didn't call cause he felt bad about it... i said "well as long as you felt bad" very sarcastically never got to talk about the plans for my birthday i was already late for work and i thought his xcuse for not calling me was lame so i just left it at that.still waiting for a chance to hear what happened sat

I can't say I've been the perfect friend and always kept my word about being there when I said I was but I've always called. It shows respect to at least call. It doesn't necessarily make up for everything, but it at least shows that they care.

It's amazing how often hitting something will make it work... MAF sensor, fuel pump, starter... any motor, really, TV, co-workers
