I was wondering if the SRT-4 would make a good first car? i mean iv been driving for awhile, but i mean like a first "real" car (if u know what i mean). because the 03 seem to get good gas milage while still putting out power. alos they arnt that expensive. Also if i do get one ill drive it for a little as is and then start adding upgrades to it. Any thoughts on my plan? also would the SRT-4 make a good car for me?

By "first car" I'm assuming you mean the car you will drive when you turn 16? If so then no...I would not suggest it for a novice driver. No offense towards yourself but a 13 sec. car+inexperienced driver=why insurance rates are so high.

If you are responsible you will be fine. If you drive it like an idiot and don't respect it you can get into trouble. I bought mine when I was 19.

That's good to hear then. If you are a)responsible and b)a manual driver then you should be fine. Definitely check insurance though. Mine is rediculous(and I've never had a ticket or accident). Good luck!
