Wife calls and tells me car is dead. Drive out and the car will start but you have to keep a heavy foot on the gas or it stalls.
After it stalls, hear a constant clicking sound. Trace to Vapor cannister located drivers side, behind headlight. Is it the Purge solenoid, the vapor cannister, or something more sinister?
Any and all help appreciated. Thanks, jon

Could be loaded with raw fuel, take it out and see.

What do you mean? Someone spiked the fuel? Please explain. Take the fuel out of the tank? Take out the purge solenoid?

The fuel vapor cannister may have been contaminated with raw fuel and is saturated, this would cause the solenoid to try to continually purge. The stalling could be caused by many things, associated with the cannister issue could be a leaking fuel pressure regulator, take the vacuum line off the reg. and see if raw fuel is evident in the line or leaking from the regulator.
