HEY GUYS,


I HAD A QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS BUT FIRST I WANNA TELL YOU WHAT I GOT AND WHAT IM PLANNIN ON DOIN. I HAVE 91 CRX HF (LIGHTEST MODEL). AND IM PUTTING IN AN LS BLOCK IN SPRING WITH P73-00 PISTONS (JDM TYPE R). I WAS WONDERING IF THE STOCK HEAD CAN TAKE THIS COMPRESSION UNTIL SUMMER WHEN I GET MY B16 HEAD? ANOTHER ?, IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A B18C1 OIL PUMP AND A B18C5 OIL PUMP? CUZ I NEED THE MORE POWERFUL ONE......OBVIOUSLY. LIKE I SAID I AM GUNNA PUT ON THE B16 HEAD ONTO THE LS BLOCK WITH P73'S (FRANKENSTEIN TYPE R)..........I WANNA KNOW IF I WILL HAVE OIL PROBLEMS SEEING THAT IM USING A NON VTEC BLOCK FOR A VTEC MODIFICATION. IM NOT TRYING TO BE A HASSLE OR WHATEVER BUT I REALLY NEED HELP AND OPINION ON THIS.

No offense but I would edit your post and remove the caps.
I would think it would encourage someone to help you with your questions.

ok, i dont understand what the caps will do but what the hell. i really need help with this. im putting the motor together slowly, so i have time......cn anyone tell me whats wrong with this y1 tranny if it grinds 2nd all the time when cold sometimes when its warmed up and grinds 4th only when cold. I was told it was only the fluid being thick but i believe the sincros are shot.
