Thank you for any help. Beyond: ECM,PCM,Crankcase senor,EI; be there any relay, fuse, power wire that can cause "no spark"?I am going to take of c3/EI unit to have it tested at the parts store, hope that's helpfull. Thanks Plodder

The ignition control module (ICM or what you're calling C3/EI unit) gets power from the pink wire (pink/black some years). Disconnect the wiring harness from the ICM & check the pink wire for 12 volts while the key is in the run position. Also check the connections at the battery.

Ok,I will check the wire. Now is there any "spark" reason to check the battery? I can't imagine. I did check the alternator for power, and it has it. The codes I have are:P122_TP sensor circuit Low
P136_Electronic?spark timing signal not after enable
P0705_Trans range sensor circuit malfunction
Help!!!!!LOL Thanks Plodder,just plodding along

Yes - Fuel, ignition system, PCM & all the sensors need to have enough volts & current while cranking. A good battery & good clean connections at both ends of all battery cables are required.

Oh?!? So,yes my battery is fully charged, cranks well,I can see what my voltage is,and check to see if termanals clean. It goes against my old school logic, but I will check it.I have no internet at home, I am my dads,so any hoard of info you or others can give me,those codes?? whatever,I can then print and run. Thanks:icon16: Plodder

It does seem to defy logic but the starter has a separate cable so it can crank like crazy while the rest of the car's electrical system isn't getting enough power. You need to remove the rubber boot from where the two battery cables come together & clean the cable ends. You won't be wasting time this is good preventative maintenance. After cleaning the ends coat them with dielectric grease to help prevent future corrosion.

If you're not getting 12 volts to the pink ICM wire then check the fuses under the dash on passenger side. Sometimes the oil pressure sender shorts out & blows the fuse it shares with the ICM.

If you have 12 volts at the pink wire then it's usually the ICM or crank sensor. Is the tach showing RPM's while cranking?
