Hello, I have a 2000 Suburban 2500 that leaks water onto the Passenger floor when I get a car wash. I was told that there is some kind of drain for the water that runs along the windshield and Door Post and that it is plugged and overflowing into the Truck. I was told it was behind the Passenger Kickplate but I could not find it.. Does anyone know where this Drain is located?.. Thanks!...jp

I've never seen one with a drain inside. Usually it drains out around the weatherstriping. I'd start by spraying the suspecting leaking area with a garden hose (door closed) to assure that it is the source of the leak. If not, spray other areas until you find the leak. You may have to have someone spray from the outside while you hunt down the leak on the inside.

An easy fix would be to not wash it :)

I had a 2000 Silverado that had the same problem. The plastic pieces between the windshield and the hood below the wipers that seemed to get filled up with crud from leaves to everything else. There are drain holes in that plastic piece that get clogged. But I always suspected ther was also something wrong with the sealant for the windshield too. Clean out the plastic trim below the wipers. it helped
