'02 Laguna MOT Failure on subframe brushes

Edit, yes I know it's bushes, not brushes...
I've got an '02 Laguna and it just failed it's MOT on both sub-frame bushes having deteriorated bonding.
How this got through a previous MOT (prior to me owning the car) I don't know. I've been told it's going to cost about £340 to get this fixed up.
I was wondering if anyone here knew if this sounds reasonable, as I'm afraid I don't really have a clue.
Regards,
James
