Hello!
2004, 5.3 flex fuel.
Was wondering what the oil pressure gauge should read for "normal". I know the gauge is prob not 100% accurate. Here are some numbers:
at idle reads 40, crusing at 75mph on freeway it reads about 50 to 60, if you stomp on it, it goes to 80 on the gauge.
I have not noticed it flucuate this much. Wondering if maybe the sending unit / gauge is going.
I only run synthenic in the truck.
Thanks!!
Paul

On my 2000 Yukon, 5.3, I run the same pressure as you described. I run 5W-30 Synthetic.
