I'm new to this forum, but not new to forums. I looked for a while on the search function, and came up empty.

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra Quad Cab 2wd, with factory 20's, and it sits higher than I would like it to.

The space between the top of the tire and the fender well edge is 5" in the front and 7" in the back. I would like to bring it down with a 3"/5" drop kit. Leaving approximately a 2" gap front and rear.

Anyone had any experience with drop kits? Should I get springs for the front or just spindles? Any kits I should stay away from?

What have you done?

Here's what I have.

I have it narrowed down to the Eibach Pro Truck Kit.

They actually tell what their kit is going to do.

1.7 lower in the front with springs
3.4 lower in the rear with leaf springs and shackles

I got one of the body shops on my route to agree to do the work for me for a minimal fee.:grinyes:

I'll post up the pics afterwards. Not sure how soon it will happen though.
