1990 Celica GT-S half shaft seals

We just put a clutch in a 1990 GT-S and all went well but it is leaking tranny oil from where the right side driveshaft goes into the tranny. Is there a seal in there that could have gone bad? I did not see a noticeable one when we took it out and it went back in with no apparent problems. any advice would be helpful-thanks
