2003 Suburban Speedo inop in cold wx

Last winter, we noticed that the speedometer occasionally would not work on cold days. Now that winter is back, it doesn't work until the interior warms up.

Has anyone seen this? Is there a recall on this problem?

Got the answer. If you have a 2003 or 2004 Chevy truck (incl Suburban), you can get the instrument cluster fixed for free, if you're having The Problem with your speedo or fuel gauge. Has to be done before 7 yrs or 70,000 miles.
