Overheat problems with my 95 GT

I have been having problems for quite a while now with my 302 overheating with the A/C on. When it first started I changed every part one at a time that I could think of (water pump, thermostat, flush rad., etc.). The only other thing I can think of would be the fan relay but I can't seem to find a diagram that shows it. I think it is the block in the loom just before the fan. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Also, I am getting a whirring noise as I clutch to shift into the next gear. I can't figure that one out either. Thanks

First with the car at idle turn the ac on and check to see if the fan comes on. Next if the fan does not work check the fuse and relay. I would say replace the relay for the fan just to be on the safe side. Now the whirring noise I would think would be the throwout bearing going bad on the tranny input shaft.

Ive had my 95 mustang 3.8l v6 for about 2 yrs. I had a lot of problems with mine running. I finally decided to have my mechanic look at it . He said the guy I bought it from had the wiring to the fan all screwed up so he rewired and bypassed everything else and put in an on dash toggle switch so I have total control of when the fan is on and it has made a huge difference. when the temp gauge starts going up I hit the switch and leave it on until I turn off the engine.

68 mustang with 347 motor overheats. Temp seems to just keep climbing regardless of speed. Has 180 degree thermostat new aluminum radiator, water pump, cap, flex fan and electric fan. A cool garden hose on the radiator cools it down very quickly. I'v been told that flex fans are junk should I put the original one back on?

Welcome to AF!
I'd put the original fan blades back on. Flex fans don't cool like an original.
