Man haven't posted anything on here in awhile hope everyones riding safe. Ok heres the deal, my friend has decided he wants a bike (THATS GREAT!):grinyes:.
But he wants to start riding on a 1998 Kawasaki zx900 c1 (THATS BAD!):nono: . I personally think this is way to much bike to start out on. Plus I don't really think that his size helps either. Hes about 6'4 and weighs maybe180 lbs. Am I right or should I just shut up and let him do it. What to do what to do? :runaround:

If he has common sense, is a safe respectful driver, and has dirt bike experience, he might be ok. If this is his first bike period, he's gonna get hurt. I would suggest a smaller cc bike (he's tall so a 250 is out of the question), like a 650cc standard (Nighthawk, LTD, GS650, etc...)

He has plenty of dirt bike experience. I just dont know about a zx900. I use to ride a cbr1000 and it didnt seem as bulky and hard to turn as the zx900, or maybe its just me as a rider i really dont know but as a first street bike I thought a 600 series, zx-6r, gsxr600, or cbr600 would have been more appropriate.
Also anyone know where I could find graphics kits for my zx-6r? I decided it looks a little boring and I had seen another bike with some nice looking graphics so now I'm on the hunt.:runaround:
