I have a 1991 Caprice wagon that came with the 305 i put a 350 in it from a 1993 Roadmaster it has no cat and dual exhaust. I put a cowl induction hood scoop on the car and recently cut the hole in the hood and put a velocity stack on it and round air cleaner. My problem now is even though it is reading colder intake air temps and dumping more fuel it still runs lean.
A guy at my work can make PROM's for vehicles with his laptop and can change things such as injector pulse width and and idle and many other things. My problem right now is I don't know where to find a PROM ID or if there is an aftermarket PROM i can buy for a 1993 Roadmaster PCM? If anyone knows of anything let me know; I am willing to buy one, but if you can erase it and reprogram the stock one i would rather do that.
I would also like to know if unplugging the ECT sensor will increase the amount of fuel being dumped into the engine. I am going drag racing this sunday and i would like to test it but if anyone knows of any adverse affects of hand let me know. I work at a chevy dealer so as far as it throwing just a code or something like that it is no big deal.
Thanks for an info in advance.

I have also heard rumors that a throttle body off of a 454 pickup truck engine has larger injectors. Is this true? I looked up the throttle body on the GM parts computer and it has 2 different parts numbers but it doesn't specify a difference.
In an earlier thread there was a discussion about getting an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator that bumps the fuel pressure up to between 10 and 14 psi. If so where can i get one of the fuel pressure regulators; Autozone Carquest, Napa? Like i said before i am looking for an easy way to get my car to run richer so any suggestions would be great. And fuel mileage doesn't matter to me.
Thanks alot,
Jeremy
