After changing the cig/acc fuse on our 2000 T&C, the tail lights now stay on. Any suggestions?

First, are you sure you don't mean brake lights and not tail lights? If you apply the brakes do the rear parking lights get brighter or do they stay the same intensity? Why did you change the fuse? Were any lights out?

Concur with is it tail lights or brake lights, if brake lights then the stop light switch (under dash and activated by brake pedal arm) is probably the culprit. How bout the cruise control, does it work, again activated/deactivated by stop light switch. Switch is easy to change and runs about $12.00 from many auto part stores.

Just fyi - this happened to me a couple of times when I shut down the car with my foot on the brakes. Just restarting the car and shutting it down cleared the problem.

Its the brake lights. I noticed a slight spark when I insert the brakelight fuse. Sorry for late respose. I've been on the road.....

:) The stoplight switch was the problem. $12 bucks at Advance for the part and 10 min to replace. Piece of cake. Thanks to all...
