I have the honor of having one in my hands for a magazine review. I won't post any pics so as not to annoy Tamiya or the magazine, but I can give you the scoop what's inside the box on this kit that's due to hit anytime now.
New body, molded in white (very glossy), new tree w/front splitter, grille, radiator, 2 piece rear wing, muffler.
New chrome tree for headlight/taillight bezels and chrome exhaust tips.
New wheels, and different/larger tires than before (they're Potenzas).
Carried over: glass, taillight lenses, chassis, interior, glass masks, metal transfers. New decal sheet and a piece of mesh material for detailing the rear diffuser.
If you've built an earlier Tamiya 350Z you know much of what to expect. They seem to have done a good job updating to the '07 NISMO.

Sounds interesting... too bad they still haven't done a 350Z roadster.

KA Models does a resin transkit for a roadster. I've never warmed up to the Z car roadster, to me the lines are busy, contrived, and a bit awkward vs. the coupe. Perhaps Aoshima may do a roadster as well, since they're doing Z cars now as well.
