Would it be bad for my 95 rodeos engine if i put a chip in my computer? Would i even notice a difference?

Have you even been able to *find* a chip??

Seriously, they do not make very many aftermarket parts for the 3.2L SOHC, if they did, they are very expensive and hard to come by.

As to whether or not it will hurt it, it depends on the overall care the engine has received in the last 12yrs.

I know they make aftermarket chips for the 3.2L DOHC, but I don't believe they are compatible with this engine, I could be wrong though.

Only way to do it is send in the ECU to be reprogramed. They have to unsolder the chip, program it, then solder it back in. One company that does it is Jet Performance.

Check out THIS POST (http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?t=14915&highlight=jet+chip) and decide if you think its worth it.

Those cheepy chip things they sell on ebay are snake oil. All they do is connect into the wire of the MAF sensor and fool the computer into thinking the air is colder then it is so it makes the engine run richer. Isuzus already run rich. They are a waste of gas and money.
