The one thing I would love to do, but can't cause I dont own a digital camara. Other wise there would be some posted I'm hoping i get one by X-mas. So that i could show what's on my wip table...........
Well my bumber on the RX-7 tilt's upward on one end and the other is in the right place....Looks like if it ran into the curb backwards, corner wise behide the driver. the body.WELL my thoughts on that is that the whole thing twisted the back is tilting to the right and the front is tilting to the left

It's difficult to advise without seeing the part up close. However I have had success before on slightly twisted bumpers by warming the affected area VERY gently with the heat from a hairdryer set on a low setting and gently manipulating it back into shape, then holding it in the correct place whilst it cools. But you must be very careful so as not to melt or distort the part.If the parts are really badly twisted they may not be able to be corrected.

Another method I've seen (or least read about) is near boiling water. I'm not sure about the temp of the water though... same method: heat, bend, hold and cool.

Hi.
The Ferrari F430 I'm currently building had a slightly warped body (driver side was bent outward).:frown:
I just used Tamiya masking tape to give the body the intended shape.
After that I used my girlfriends hair-dryer (cause men don't use hair-dryers:icon16:) to warm the offending sidepanel.
And what do you know, it's perfect now.:grinyes:
But like Steve said. Don't get the plastic too hot.
I hope you get it fixed, although I can imagine that fixing that bumper might be a bit more of a challenge than I had with the body.
Good luck !

get HOT tap water, hold the part under water for a minute counter-twisting the part. then turn the cold water on and cool the part off. keep doing this until the part has it's proper shape.
