Hi looking for some thoughts. I changed the battery in my 97 voyager recently and now the lights in the buttons for the a/c, defroster and rear wipers flash for approx 20 min. then they go off, as soon as I shut the van off and start it again the process repeats. anyone know why and how to get this to stop?
thanks

One of these procedures on the link should cure it.

This happened two years ago to me also after changing my battery in a 98 grand voyager. I found a post that solved my problem. I had to hold down the left top and bottom button until all the lights are all solid. Then release and they go through some kind of check and may take up to 2 minutes.
I think I had to have the car running and the a/c on high.
I also read that if that leaves it to where the two lower right buttons are lighted it failed a cooling test. To fix that you have to hold the bottom left and most right buttons down until they are solid. Then release and they go through some kind of check and may take up to 2 minutes. The post also said you might have to do that more than once. I hope that helps and that I remembered correctly.

IF WE HAVE A MODERATOR PLEASE LISTEN UP
We get this complaint with annoying regularity. Any chance of putting the fix on a "sticky" at the top of the forum for all to read. Not that many folks would take the time to read it. I would hope at least a few would.
No offense meant nick. You just happen to be the 400th.
