1994 Suburban Trans and Sensor Problems.

I have a 1994 Chevy Suburban 1500 5.7 V8 with about 237,700 miles on it. As far as the engine goes it runs good except when it gets good and warm the service engine light comes on. You shut the truck off and start it again, the light don't come on again until it gets warm again. It is running rich to! Smells at times like it is burning raw gas. It sounds to me like it is a sensor but dont know how to get the codes to find out which one. Other than that the engine is perfect. No leaks or burning of oil. My BIGGEST thing is the transmission. It has the 4l60e automatic 4X4 in it. What happens is when you shift from park to any drive gear, it vibrates and shakes the truck. Not really a slip just a bad vibration. What i have to do is go from park or reverse to drive, get up to about 5 mph, throw it in neutral for just a second, and put it back into drive which fixes it. Runs perfect. Any ideas? Thanks!

This may help pull the code(s) http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/

That is a lot of miles on both the engine and tranny so it may be time for a rebuild.
