:) I just bought a 1999 Ford Windstar and was wondering where is the plug that you plug in a cd changer? My van didn't come with a cd changer and I want to put one in and was wondering where the heck to plug it in?? Thanks for any information you can give me.

Hi
Do you have a Ford OEM changer? I cannot say for sure whether it was an option in '99, but that would be the only way one would simply "plug in". If you are wanting to add an aftermarket changer you will probably have to go with an FM modulator setup.
If you are unsure what will work, crutchfield.com is a good resource for what will fit and how to do it (they will give you general info, but if you buy you get very detailed info on installation that is custom to your year, make, model). For what it is worth, I put an aftermarket head unit into my '96 using a crutchfield install kit and it was very easy.

I have also found that Crutchfield gives SUPER good information.
I installed a CD changer, and it has a FM modulator that connects inline with the antenna.
However, you need to connect to several power points.
I will caution you......inside the console, below the factory radio.....but down near the floor, there is a small box with a wire harness going to it.
This is NOT an amplifier or in ANY WAY related to the vehicle sound system.
THIS IS THE AIRBAG CONTROLLER!!!!!
So you don't want to mess with any wires going to it.....or with the unit.

My 99 Windstar came with a factory CD changer. It is located under the driver's seat. Perhaps you'll find a harness there.
