The driver side power sliding door is no longer wanting to work, it worked prior to my wife returning home with my son.
Something happened and it bumped up against her as she was helping him out. After that it no longer worked.
My wife and I just purchased this vehicle Certifed Used on Thursday. If I cannot determine a way to correct the problem I will be calling the dealer as the vehicle is still under warranty.
On the remote when pressing the open driver side door key the door makes an unlock sound and the left signal flashes, but the door does not open. Same thing when using the internal.
The other door works fine. Also the fuse for the power door is okay (apparantly they both use the same fuse?). I disconnected the battery for a minute to see if anything needed to be reset, but that didnt' work.
Assuming some sort of saftey mechenism has been triped. What procedure would be used to reset it?
edit: Corrected error in which door is malfunctioing. It is the Driver Side Door.

HATE TO SAY IT BUT THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD HAVE THE DEALER LOOK AT. THEY HAVE THE COMPUTER THEY CAN HOOK UP TO THE DOOR TO COMMUNICATE WITH IT, WHICH TELLS THEM SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS WRONG. COULD BE THE CLUTCH, SAFETY SWITCH, MOTOR, ETC.. JUST BETTER OF LETTING THEM LOOK AT IT. WEITHER YOU HAVE A WARRANTY OF NOT, I BELIEVE IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO HAVE THEM TELL YOU THE PROBLEM. THESE DOORS ARE VERY COMPLEX. HOPEFULLY YOUR WARRANTY COVERS THIS! THIS IS MY 2 :2cents:. GOOD LUCK.
