Product to light sides while turning

I'm inquiring this not only for a friend but I'm sure there are other that have wondered if such a product exists, myself included.

The product in question is a side marker type of unit that would as you signal that you are turning a corner would shine light in that particular direction. Like a front side marker that is combined with a cornering light, but which is small enough to possibly fit within a side marker existing hole (unless it needs to be drilled to a bigger size..

Its quite hard to see anything on either side at night while turning, and was wondering if such a product exists that stays lit when the turns signals are on and illuminates dark, unlighted street that the car is turning into that would not only be helpful but be a safety necessity as well.
It would be great if it had bulbs of similar output to turn signals or backup lights, and it would also need the standard amber side marker in the same unit.

Anyone seen such a product.
