water on drivers drive floorboard

It appears as if the condensation from the A/C running down and soaking the floorboard on the drivers side of my 96 Voyager...does anyone know how I can correct this?
I have cleaned the screen under the windshield, and cleared the drain hoses connected to this, so I think I have narrowed the problem to the A/C.
Thanks in advance!

Check the drain in the A/C plenum. It should be in the engine compartment on the firewall below the plenum.

Check the drain in the A/C plenum. It should be in the engine compartment on the firewall below the plenum.

Can I access that from the engine compartment or from inside the car?

The AC evaporator and its drain are on the passenger side. I would think if the drain were clogged, the leak would be there. The drain hole is just visible on the fire wall behind the serpentine belt of the engine. I found it by pouring water into the heating ducts at the evaporator then watching where it ran out. Lower the glove compartment and remove the evaporator access door from the heating duct (leave the sensing needle in the evaporator) to gain access to the inside of the heating duct.

My 96 leaks on the passenger side and I have not been able to find out where. I dry the mat when convenient. Good luck

I too have recurring water on the drivers side floor after heavy rains, of my 87 Caravan. The water gets in two ways I think. One way is by coming down the inner parts of the firewall. It runs off the windshield, into the plenum where the wiper motor is - and from there is supposed to run off through a passage into the front fender area. After enough years the sealant that was spread onto the metal in that plenum will shrink. The different parts of the car there were spot-welded together, and the sealant was needed to make the welded joints water tight. I have not been able to find just where the sealant has given way - but if I cover the roof and windshield, the floor doesnt get wet.
The other route for water to get in is around the rubber door gasket. It also shrinks with age, and no longer seals against the door - on the part of the door near the hinges. The water running down the windshield side pillar is able to flow past the rubber gasket, and puddle onto the rug. It then soaks into the underlayment material under the carpeting.
