Does anyone know where this sensor is located? It is not listed it the manual and i can't seem to find it. I also get code P0182.
I have cleared the code(s), but they come back right after I start the car again.
If anyone has any information about this code, please post.

Thanks

What kind of code reader did you use?? I had the same problem before on my 2001. As far as I know this is a false code. Really it should show a different code. I got a better one now...

I am using Car-Tool U10 Tech by CTools. I believe you are right, this is a cheap code reader. I have searched to web many times and this code does not seem to apply to Windstars.

Thanks for the reply

Yep!! That what I have to. Now I have a scan gauge, its better. does many other types of codes except newer ABS codes. also CAN ready as well. It ran about 169.00. Also shows many other things as well such as temps RPM and many other things..I do still use the C-tool reader for quick resets on friends at work who need to get there cars inspected if the code resets. Most of the time it works great for them just long enough for them to get inspected. When I got a 181 it later came up as a 171 which was the isolator bolt issue.. its been fixed a while now.
