So I've got an '89 Sub which has some issues. The big one at the moment is the codes telling me the engine runs rich and that I've got EGR issues. Now, I have a bit of a budget to work with on this one, so I need to know what the likely resolution of this problem is: Why does my exhaust smell like sulphur when it is driven hard? Like if I go from 0-100km/h letting the engine rev up, I can catch the smell of sulphur inside the truck while I'm moving. Probable causes could include: 1. Bad EGR valve ($70-100) 2. Bad catalytic converter ($110) 3. Bad O2 sensor ($40) 4. Bad MAP pressure sensor ($90) Also, when I go around 90 degree corners, sometimes there is an audible clunking coming from under the hood. Is this a sign that I've got bad shocks? They're double shocked with the leaf springs. If they're bad, is there any way to bring them back or is it pretty much time for new ones? Thanks in advance for any advice

Fix your trouble codes first. That might get rid of the smell. Get new shocks. Check bushings first.
