Just wondering if the isolators on the 96 are the same as on the later years? I ordered new ones from Team Ford at about $4.85 a piece. I looked on Rock Auto and found the kit all twelve for $10.? Are they the same? The mechanic who diagnosed my hesitation problem recomended I replace them because of the age as well as the bad injectors. I ordered 6 new injectors from http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_Sets.asp?type=search&keyword=fiveomotorsports&adid=878710939&placement=&gclid=CM_zlNyH_40CFRUHWAodJXL5Kg
Much cheaper and have a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Ill let everyone know how everything turns out after I get them and there installed.

Did you include your VIN with your order?
If so, they should send the correct part.

Not sure yet on the Windstar but I have run into some that have to be clocked in right. So how ever you take them out make sure they are put in the same way. It may spray fuel a certain way. If you put them in wrong it may skip and run rough.. Just check into it first.. Not sure on the Windstar yet..

Actually I checked with Ford on the part #. The injector is different then on Alldata. I also had a injector replaced before. The Part # is still the same. I just wory about after market. However this sight is highley recommended. I have not seen a negative yet. If they honor there warranty thats even better 3 years unlimited miles. Will see. I was just adding up all the money I have put in the van with intake manifold gasket change and all other parts and Im over $1200. Im not sure the van is worth it except for the fact Im the original owner and I know how its been taken care of. If I bought another Id be putting money in that too.

Gary are you makeing reference to the injectors? If so I have had them out and they really can only go a certain way because of the electrical connections. Plus they have a non directional head. I just hope they are the same quality. I was afraid to replace the two that were bad and have others fail down the road. (190,000 miles) Im actually anxious to see if it gives better performance as well as stopping the hesitation. Maybe the gas mileage will improve. Will see.

Ford inj are realy pretty good, and seldom go bad. If I was going to replace one, I personaly go with a Ford one.
I cleaned mine myself, and installed all ne Orings, and caps, and have had good luck. Im doing a set for my Bronco as we speak.

I went back and forth trying to decide which way to go with the injectors. Everything Ive done so far Ive used Ford Parts from Team Ford in Las Vegas. They wanted $64.00 an injector. For 6 of them thats about $400.00 with shipping. The Fiveo injector place is all they do. Great reviewd no negatives I have found plus a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Not that that means much if the place is not reputable. Its done though ive ordered them they should be here Monday or Tuesday. They deal with alot of racing applications so Ill find out. I just didnt want to replace the 2 bad ones and 6 months from now have others fail. (Lots of years and lots of miles) Ill let you know Thanks
