hey, before a couple days ago i had no idea Golf GTI's were anything other then a practical economy car. This kid in a blue moded GTI pulled my buddies srt-4 on the highway. My buddy has the stage two kit with a bunch of other mods. He has the option to change maps with a switch and he had it on low boost. lower then stock i believe, but i'm sure his srt-4 can run high 13's on low boost so that GTI had some pull to it. Kinda got me looking into them.

wow thats expensive. those germans build them good which is why there parts are so expensive to replace.
Yea the kid that raced us had a nice one with rims and a drop. looked real clean. i think i like it more just because he pulled on my buddy's car. speaking of, my buddy just ran a 13.2@109mph the other day with some new mods on high boost. sucks all my friends are into these front wheel drive cars cause that trap speed is good for 12's. thing is he spins through first and second down the track with 2.2 60ft times. he's done pretty much all he can too with 245 up front and in back. thats about as big as he can go.
