1990 Plymouth Voyager

My dad has a 90 Voyager, 3.0 EFI, Front wheel drive. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what transmission is in it. I have no Hanes or owners manuel on it and found no code on the placard. Reverse is gone, and 1 2 D jump out of gear when the gas pedal is released. Its basically on its last leg all around but I thought if I could find a cheap tranny we would throw another one in. Also if you know what other years are the same 88,89,91,92, etc. that would be great. Thanks
