99 Windstar, the ABS light has been on so lonng I cant remember a time when it wasnt. The code is c1185. Does anyone know what it is? I have replaced the two front wheel sensors.

Seem like you may have a ABS control modulator problem.. Ouch!! Can be pricey
If the Van's brakes are working OK besides the control module, I would not worry
about it. Can't find this code to pin point. But I think it has something to do with the Control module.Maybe someone else can better help on this one.

Brakes work fine so if it is the module I think it is going to stay broken.

This code points to an internal relay failure in the ECU. You will probably need a new module. I have the same code, plus about 10 others.
Let us know if you figure out a fix.

You better be sure that you can get away with not replacing it where you live. I know that some states like mine won't allow your vehicle to pass inspection with the abs light on. Sorry for the bad news.
