1995 Suburban Electric Brake Controller

I need to add an electric brake controller to my 95 K-1500 4WD Suburban. I know some Suburbans are pre-wired for some of this, but don't know about my 1995. Is there a block to plug into by the brake pedal rather than splicing the wire from the switch? Is there a wire (blue?) in place from the pedal area to the rear of the vehicle to hook into the round 7 prong plug I'll be adding? Any help from the experts is appreciated before I jump in and do it the hard way! Thanks!! John

All of the ones I have worked on have not had any plug ins. It will help if you have a wiring diagram but I have done it without one. Just make sure you fuse any power going to the back. And run a ground all the way to the back.

Blue & orange wires are taped up underneath the brake booster in the engine compartment. They are also fed inside the frame rail by rear bumber (drivers side), you have to give them a super big pull to get the tape to release up in the frame rail. You do have to splice the cold brake wire by the steering column and drill a hole in the firewall to feed the blue into the cab and the ground and power into the engine compartment. Get a 20A auto reset fuse from any RV outlet, run the power from the controller to it and then from it to one of the open 30A lugs inside the black fuse block next to the antilock brake module. The orange wire uses the other open 30A lug (this charges your RV batteries while on the road). Run the white ground wire from the brake controller clear through the engine compartment to the battery.
Wire up a 7 way RV Plug by the hitch and you are finished.
