Guys,
Started the procedure to correct lean codes this past weekend. The part they sent me for the replacenment valve cover (LH) was 4U7Z-6582-A. It says it's a replacement for 3F2Z-6582-BA. It's silver like it should be but it still has the little hole at 5 PM. Just looks like it's been covered with aluminium that's been riveted on from the inside of the valve cover where the PCV valve goes. Anyone know if this is the right part ? It looks exactly like the one I took off and I don't think it was ever replaced. I have a 99 Star.

I believe my "good" valve cover had a little indentation where the hole would have been. It wasn't all the way through and therefore did not let oil pool up.
If there is no through hole, I am not sure I'd worry about it.
Others might voice their opinion.

My original #2 bank valve cover ('99) was black.

My 2001 is also black but probably the upgrade series, because it has no hole
at 5 o'clock ( in the PCV hole).
