i thought 40k was miles haha ok.
2006 Corvette 400hp and 28 mpg...not too bad at all $38k
2006 Lexus Is350 306hp 28mpg..one of the hottest sedans ive ever seen.

theres so many cars that could meet your criteria...

i was gona say...im sure not alot of people on here have 40k to shell out on a car..must be nice :). hmm ok ideas...
a mid 90s Camaro/Firebird would probably be around 4k. and they are available with 6 cyl if you really want to save gas.
as far as the mafia sedan thing goes. why not look at a mid 90s buick/lincoln? they tend to have that kind of look

yeah i was gonna say you can probly find a nice lt1 (93-97) maro or bird for under $4k, and if not you'll definately be able to find an 88-92 f-body for under that.
