Ranger Converted to Navigator

Ok well i signed up to this forum becuase iam very curious about this. I saw a 1993 Ford Ranger for sale that was converted to a Navigator. Now i know a bit about cars but not that much on the technical side. Say i wanted to buy a new ranger or one a year or two old. How do i go about doing this. Im sure it not as simple as buying a grill and headlights. I know a pretty good body shop. And also how much do you think it would cost.
