The locks, interior lights, power mirors, dash lights, and day time running lights went out in the denali. I have checked all fuses and to my best attempt checked the grounds. The problem started when the neggative battery post was lose and i though the battery was dead so i jumped it. Please if anyone has any helpful advice please tell me, this is the first time i have tried this web site and hopefuly someone can help.

Is the battery okay now or did you put a new one in?
I just jumped started someone on the 26th and now I have intermitent pwr lock failure and I lose my dash lights when I plug up my trailer and apply the brake petal.
I'm looking for a similar answer myself. I think there was a surge and it may have impacted the PCM?? Try turning everything on and then unplug the battery (both terminals) and let it sit overnight.
A suggestion my friend from GE (aircraft division) suggested was to do that and then put grounding rods in the ground and attach them to the battery leads with cables (not attached to the battery) to try and ground out the surge....I've not gone that far.
Good luck!

Hi, I am not near the service manual, but a guess is that the body control module (one of the computers) may be fried. At least some of the items are controlled by it.
You may need to have someone put a computer on it for diagnosis.
