Does anybody have or know where I can get a replacment rear barn door inside latch/handle? The latch is fine but the handle is broken and I don't want to get one from the local stealerdealer.

Also I have located one but it is from a 97 suburban... will this fit a 93??? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I called the dealer and they said its $160 part, Anybody have any info on where I can get one?

My uncle replaced the inside door latch in his 94' sucessfully with one that came out of a 99'. It seems to me any latch from a 92' through 99' would work. As far as getting one LMCTruck.com has one listed for $49.95. They have the whole latch assembly too. :2cents: Good Luck

anyone know why the second half of the door would be difficult to open? the female part of the latch in door was loose so I tightened visible top and side T27 bolts but that did not help? are those bolts mounting or adjusting bolts? Any info would be helpful.

Either breaking/bending handle (like the inner, and sometimes outer, door handles)..or an adjustment to the catchplate. If you can open it by pushing in on the door when you pull the handle I would do it that way until you can adjust or find a cheap replacement.

That's what potmetal does after years of use....especially if users like to grab those handles and yank hard. But heck...GM saved a few cents each by not using real steel. ;)

I have been leaning on to open it, but it is getting worse and will not open on occasion! What do I adjust or replace?
