Missfire on cyl 5 on a 3.5

Hi
i have 94 concorde all plugs look good except for cyl 5 it was soaked in gas would this be a coil pack problem cause its not sparking wire looked fine

sure could be in the coil pack...or a valve problem on that cylender.....good luck...

after you said that i did a compression test and it was at 120
i did a key test to get codes there was on 38 and then it did 55 so im assuming 55 is end of codes

Well coil pack seem to fix the miss and dead plug but now im getting
code 12 from what i read here that means battery been disconected
code 41 anyone know what that is
and code 55 end of codes
i went to 5 diff places yesterday looking for a repair manual for this thing i ended up putting one on order

so if u happen to know what code 41 is ull be a big help

Could be blown out intake gaskets and that will cause a miss on the 1993-1997 3.5.It is a common problem and most auto parts stores stock the gaskets.Spray brake clean or carb cleaner near the gasket area when running.If there is a change,there is your problem.The worst part of the job is if one of the intake bolts break off,a lot of drilling and using an easy out.

I had a 95 LHS with the 3.5. It developed a misfire on one cylinder. Turned out that the long spark plug boot had developed a pinhole and the inition system was firing off thru the side of the boot to the tube that the sparkplug sits in. Suggest you pull out the sparkplug boot and give it a close inspection. If you see a a little black spot on it where its been firing off to the tube, replace the plug wires.
