2005 monte carlo totally shut down when driving and now doesnt start!

I just bought this car 3 months ago (2005 monte carlo ls 3.4 ltr.) and the other day when i was driving it, the car just shut off and it would now start back up. The message center flashed low brake fluid, security, low fuel, and service vehichle soon. the brake fluid level is right where it is supposed to be. Does anyone know what might be wrong and what i should do?:banghead:

Welcome to AF. What were you doing when it stalled, high speed, low speed, idle, how long did it take to restart?, very slim info here. There is no defintive way to diagnose this from a remote location. Grounds should be checked, ign. switch functions, all based on more accurate symptom info.

Well I just pulled out of a parking lot and probably was only going about 20 mph and when i started braking the car pretty much just shut off. I havent got the car started again since that. When I turn the key I get absolutly nothing. The radio and lights and everything comes on just it doesnt start. The brake light stays on and it and it flashes in the message center: Low Brake Fluid, Low Fuel, Security, and Service Vehichle soon..

probably a computer issue. Probably blew a fuse. Check your BCM/PCM fuse. Hope this helps.

Okay I owe you a Big THANKS! I pulled that fuse and it didnt look like it was blown at all but i put a new one in just for the hell of it and it started right up! Thanks alot man!

get it checked out. when that happend to me i needed a new computer.

Really did it happen to you again? How much did the new comp run you?

Around 800 i think. but that trick of pulling it out and back in kept working for a while. ( about 2 months i was doing it for before it was fixed)

Is it the Engine Computer Module LKQ that you had put in there. Or can you tell me what the computer is that i have to buy? Any other info that you have regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

i believe it was the engine computer module but dont quote me on that. I was looking for the receit but i couldnt find it.
