I don't speed all the time, but still do it often. Don't get busted. Man life is good:evillol:

nothing to do with the legal system; you just have bad luck.

i always speed, but here if you don't do at least 10k over the speed limit people get angry.

just something on the same topic as this, yesterday i was running late for one of my final exams so i was bootin it down the freeway, i was doing 140-150kph (i think that's 85-90) and i saw a white impala. as i was getting closer i was thinking "maybe that's an unmarked cop car" so as i passed him i see the badges on his arm and stuff, get on the brakes and slow down before he could get a reading on me. man that guy looked pissed that he didn't get me, so i just drove with the flow of traffic until i got off the freeway.

Same here! New Jersey is known for impatient drivers :iceslolan including me. If someone has driven on GSP, one might notice that everyone drives 75 on 55 till they spot a cop hiding somewhere. Most of the time, a +5 is good enough for me (and prevents the cops from getting you).

well it's not so much that they get angry, they get impatient, we are talking about canada after all. but a cop won't pull you over unless you're doing more than 20% over the speed limit, sometimes 30%.

there's a few roads down here that you won't get messed with too too bad.
speed limit's 70 in some parts of travis county, and the deputies are way cooler. gotta watch out though 'coz you can be doing 120+ on 290 way way south and then BAM there's that cop chillin' behind a sign, or in the median somewhere. anyone else live in austin?
where's a good place to just run around?
i like RR12 on the way to dripping springs.
but it's only two lanes so it's super dangerous in the day.

You just have bad luck or ill equiped. My friends cobra has scanner that flips threw channels automatically, laser and radar detectors. Also I just do 5 over and if people want to pass that's fine with me.

I've been around Austin a few times. Bastrop Highway and US 290 are good for speeding IMO. ;) I tried speeding of I-35 once but there was a cop driving between the traffic and it's heavily monitored around San Antonio.
