Trailer Hitch Wiring - Need Help!

I just bought a 2000 Venture. It came equipped with the factory Towing Package, including rear air shocks, HD Cooling, and a wiring harness, but not the actual receiver. I just bought a Reese receiver, and plan to bolt it in before Summer (it's still cold in PA).

Anyhow, I need help on the wiring, please!
There is a 6-pin Connector tucked-up underneath the rear of the van, adjacent to the Air Compressor. Only four wires go to the connector, so two are blank (no connection). The factory Towing Package came with a small wiring harness that I believe is supposed to connect into this 6-Pin connector. All six positions are populated with wires. The wires are just flying leads - they don't go to anything. I would've expected them to have a 4-Pin Flat Standard Trailer Connector, or a 7-Pin Round Connector (but they don't). There is an instruction sheet with this wiring harness that simply shows it plugging into the 6-Pin connector tucked up underneath the van, but it does not show how to wire up the flying leads, nor does it tell which signal is on which wire.

Can someone please show me how to connect these flying leads up to a 7-Pin Trailer connector or at least a 4-Pin flat connector? And, do I need a "converter" to do what I'm trying to do?

If you want something more plug and play, you can purchase an adapter kit from Napa autoparts. You basically unplug both taillights, plug the harness in and route the wires and then plug the taillights into the adapters and screw them back in. Mine works like a charm, and cost me 49.99 when I was down in Oklahoma.

OK, that harness I have is wrong.

Does ANYONE know the GM part number for the Trailer Harness?

Again, I have the automatic load leveling system and tow package with the 6-Pin female connector that goes to nowhere. There has to be a GM trailer harness, about 2-Feet long, that plugs into it...

It was a 6 pin (?) connector that plugged in next to the rear load leveling compressor. It terminated with a standard 4 pin flat plug. I have the load leveling system as well. I don't think they changed much on these since 1998.
