No alliances with Ford, Toyota president says

Toyota Motor Corp. President Katsuaki Watanabe says his company has no plans for an alliance or joint venture with Ford Motor Co. Speculation about such a partnership arose after new Ford CEO Alan Mulally visited Toyota headquarters.
