So much work and studying after break

My school got a winter break because we get a lot of snow, so I got a week off. Great but I come back and I have to study for a statistics test, a calc II test, review for Physics test and on top of it all, paint for art class. This sucks, this was going to be my fun week, not my overloaded with work week.
For those that didn't get a winter break, you're lucky because your school probably did not try to pile all tests into the following week because you didn't leave. I envy you.

I always want my exams to be held before any sort of holiday break. The holidays are there to be enjoyed, for you to relax. Not the other way round. Having tests right after a holiday is just stress. Besides, I never study during my holidays anyway :(

Werd. It's usually up to the professor. Cool ones will sympathise and put tests before breaks. Cocksucking bastards that want you to fail will put them the day after.

i just had my break last week, i was lucky and got all my crap over with the week before. i had a differential equations and series test, linear algebra test, physics test, programming practical exam, programming midterm, business midterm, physics quiz, and programming assignment. so some people have it worse, sure it sucks for you that you've got that, but i get something like that every two or three weeks, i always have my diff eq'ns and series and lin alg tests the same week, as well as a physics test, i have a programming assignment every week, a physics quiz every week, so all i really have to say is welcome to university.

Well at least you can look forward to after graduating you will be working 16 hour days and sleeping 2-3 hours a night because you have to go home and take care of a screaming infant and a sick wife. So think of this as good practice. There is no relaxing week. :(

You're a better man than me. I never studied in college. Just did the homework and projects. Anything that received a grade. Oh well, I still graduated.

we don't have tests at college. was have "assesments" because it's wrong to test people.
i'm not sure how you can fail an assesment though.

Sorry, no sympathy here. I work. No winter break, no spring break, no summers off, and on top it all I'll probably take a part time job on top of my regular job to get my kids thru college. A four year degree is worth an additional $1million bucks over your life time. How hard and long would you work for $1 million bucks?

No breaks for me. once I am done with school and waiting to go to college, I am bringing up a second job. I think I am gonna be working a lot this summer.

Ha ha, I got it easy.
I'm just concentrating on my major this semester. I am taking mostly psych classes this semester, which I actually find fascinating and have a genuine interest in. Infact, one thing I learned more about just this last week was how people usually exaggerate the difficulty of their situation, or job, to make themselves look better or more competent.
Psychology, its some wild shit... :)

I will be working over spring break this weekend. To bad we only get a 4 day weekend. I think I have one test the day before we get out and am watching a movie in another. Thats three, 4 day weekends in a row now if our boys win districts or regions, I'm not sure which.
