Whenever I start the van, the airbag sign starting blinking and after few blinks it stays. My Mechanic says it is not showing any codes. One of the thread on this forum says, check the wiring under passenger seat. I checked and found no wiring. Another forum says there is ground connection problem on the crash sensor. I don't know where the sensor is? Please help me. My VA insecption is due in couple of days.

The blinking light is actually indicating the code for the problem. Count the flasshes as it blinks. It will be a two digit code (two blinks, pause then four blinks is a code 24). It will do this 3 times then go solid. Let me know th code & I can try and help you

Thank you
It blinks 5 times pause then 2 times. This process repeats 5 times before it goes solid.

A code 52 is an internal thermal fuse failure in the airbag control unit. It cannot be erased. The control unit needs to be replaced and then the system should function properly. The failure code sequences begin at the lower numbers (12 for a bad fuse, 23 for a bad outside sensor, etc.) and end in the 50's. Code 52 is usually a code found after a system deployment and all the bags have been replaced. It's not uncommon and replacing the control unit is easy. It is located behind the lower storage compartment in the center of the dash, mounted to the metal framework supporting the dash. If you email me directly, I cam send yo a picture of the exact location. Aside form that check out this website for additional information:
