Hi everyone, this is my first post I hope someone knows what to do.
My car was acting funny, locks going up and down randomly, but then this ungodly noise was coming from under the hood, it was high pitched and constant!! the whole neighborhood must have been able to hear it, and the only way to make it stop was to disconnect the battery. Now even when I reconnect it the car wont start. Someone please help I am going to get fired with no car to drive to work!!! Someone have mercy on me.....

If when you turn the key you get nothing but a click or nothing at all, try jump starting the car with jumper cables or barrow a known good battery. If the starter turns the engine but it just won't run then you'll have to check to see if the engine is getting fuel and spark.
A weak battery could cause the noise and random locks. I'm guessing you have a theft deterent system. The noise may have been from the TD horn. Electronics on cars need a constant strong current to work normally. If the battery current is weak the electronics can sometimes do strange things.

Thanks,
When I turn the key the electronics work in the car but the engine wont turn. I thought it was the battery initially but someone told me the electronics might be messed up with the car. Thats good news if its the battery and I could just swap a new one in there....It sounds like if its not I would just need a new starter or something?

I would try as suggested in my first post before you buy a battery. Look in the Carolla FAQs thread at the top of the forum . There is a section on starting problems and how to troubleshoot.
