headers and cold air intake

I am going to get a cold air intake and headers for my saturn sc1. How much do you think each will affect my hp and my gas mileage

Not much. I wouldn't even bother messing with a single cam engine. They only make 85 HP out of the box. You should easily be getting 30+MPG city driving. If you're not, something is wrong.

Swap in a DOHC and you gain 40 horses right off the bat and then you have a motor to work with.

hmm thats a great suggestion, but uhh like i dont have that kind of money lol. How much would that cost me do you think.

If you can find a wrecked twin cam Saturn somewhere you could probably pick it up cheap, pull the motor, part out whats left and maybe break even.

I think I'll wait until my current engine goes to do that. I have 94k miles. I don't have the money or knowldge to, but thanks alot. I'll see what I can find.
