VW Golf for sale

i want to get a mk4 golf. i found a dealer a little while away. IT is a February made 1999 VW Golf GLS. Built in Germany. It has 77039mi, 5 speed, 2.0L 4cyl., shifting is smooth. Thought the mirror is missing inter parts are missing, but no rust. I can get is for 6500 plus all other crap comes out for 7200. Is it a good buy.
